My Review:
Upon trying out this fragrance, I was pleasantly surprised by its longevity and rich scent profile. The blend of Mandarin, Pear, Pink Pepper, and Liquorice in the top notes creates a captivating and sweet initial aroma that transitions into a heart of Jasmine and Orange Blossom. The base notes of Cedarwood, Patchouli, Vanilla, and Coffee add a warm and alluring depth to the fragrance.
While I can’t compare it to YSL’s Black Opium, I found this perfume to be a unique and versatile scent suitable for both winter and summer. The mix of floral and sweet notes, with a hint of warmth from the vanilla and amber, creates a well-balanced fragrance that is not overpowering.
The packaging was pristine, and the bottle itself is visually appealing with a magnetic cap that prevents leakage. I appreciate that it is vegan, paraben-free, and cruelty-free, making it a guilt-free indulgence. Although the scent fades somewhat quickly on my skin, I find it perfect for daytime wear and a great value for the price point.
Overall, I would recommend this fragrance for those who enjoy sweet, floral scents with a touch of warmth and sophistication. It’s a lovely addition to my collection, and I look forward to using it throughout the year.
